Pricing
Crunchbase's own pricing page could not be read during this research, so plan prices come from third-party sites. Those sites report Pro at about $49 a month billed yearly or $99 monthly, and Business from about $199 a month. API access is sold as a custom contract, and third-party estimates run from about $10,000 to $30,000 a year per team, which we did not verify.
What it covers
Crunchbase says it covers companies from pre-seed startups to global public companies, with more than 30 million verified data updates a year from 4,000+ venture partners and 600,000 active contributors. Its predictions cover fundraising, IPOs, acquisitions and growth.
Citations and verification
Crunchbase's accuracy claims are self-reported, and it gives no dates or method for them. Its own pages cite both 16K+ and 14,000+ correct predictions, so the figures do not match.
API
The API comes in Fundamentals, Insights and Predictions packages, and the Insights and Predictions packages always include Fundamentals. Available endpoints and fields depend on your license; see https://data.crunchbase.com/docs/api-packages-overview.
